The Elberta Peach Tree (Prunus persica 'Elberta') is a deciduous fruit tree. Arguably the most popular variety of peach tree, it is a favorite of many and widely known for large sweet peaches. Blooms in the spring, with a profusion of dark pink to purple flowers. This freestone peach tree produces yellow flesh under a yellow-red blushed skin. It is an excellent quality with high productivity. The Elberta peach tree ripens approximately July 25th to early August, could be 4-6 weeks later in colder climates.
